The Fine Arts Department Jewelry and Metalsmithing area is offering two sections of ARTS 291 Introduction to Jewelry and Metalsmithing this coming Fall 2026 semester on M/W 9:00-11:50am as well as M/W 4:20-7:10pm. Learn all the basics of working with metal such as sawing, piercing, soldering, cold connections as well as polishing. Students who complete this course can move on to upper level classes that cover processes such as lost wax casting, stone setting, raising and forming.
