Faculty Information Session: Summer Salary and Conversion on Sponsored Projects is Changing

The ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ Research Foundation, in partnership with Academic Affairs, will host an informational session to provide faculty with clarification on
summer salary guidelines and available compensation options for faculty on nine and ten-month appointments.
The session will cover summer salary funding through sponsored projects (up to 2.5 months), options for supplementing summer compensation through individual or departmental Research Support Accounts (RSAs), and the transition away from the research-funded 12-month conversion process.
Our goal is to help faculty understand the available options, how they work together, and the process for planning and requesting summer salary.
