Otolaryngology Welcomes Dr. Goudy
Steven Goudy, MD, M.B.A., FACS, has been appointed chair of Otolaryngology at Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences Eastern Virginia Medical School at 亚色视频, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
Dr. Goudy joins the University from Emory University, where he has served as professor of Otolaryngology and director of Pediatric Otolaryngology, as well as chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital
, is our primary teaching hospital, it is home to the area's only Level I trauma center and burn trauma unit and the region's premier heart program. Residents spend more than half of their training each year rotating at this facility and learn to treat a wide variety of disorders, with an emphasis on trauma, head and neck oncology, neurotology, rhinology and general otolaryngology.

Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters
is the only freestanding children's hospital in Virginia. With 206 beds, it is the regional pediatric referral center for coastal Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. The hospital, a pediatric Level I trauma center, is home to the area's largest and most advanced neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, as well as the state's only acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. Residents complete rotations at the hospital and its separate facilities devoted to the ambulatory care of pediatric otolaryngology patients.

Sentara Leigh Hospital
is a 250-bed acute care facility specializing in orthopedic, cardiac, advanced imaging, obstetrical, gynecological and breast care services. Sentara Leigh Hospital offers a contemporary care environment for general medical/surgical and ambulatory services. The medical center includes the 48-bed Orthopedic Hospital at Sentara Leigh, one of Sentara's multiple specialized orthopedic care facilities. Trainees complete rotations at Sentara Leigh during their last four years of residency.

Sentara Princess Anne
is a 160-bed acute care hospital that serves southern Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and northeastern North Carolina. Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, in partnership with Bon Secours Virginia, brings quality clinical outcomes, experienced physicians, award-winning patient safety initiatives, advanced technology and a patient-centered approach to care for patients. Residents practice at our outpatient office on this campus.
Bon Secours Surgery Center at Virginia Beach
is an outpatient facility with two operating rooms and one treatment room and is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. ENT surgeons perform advanced procedures using the center's state-of-the-art equipment. Our residents rotate through this facility, working with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Sentara Ambulatory Care Clinic
Our residents participate in Sentara's Ambulatory Care Clinic, which provides uncompensated medical care to uninsured or underinsured Norfolk residents. The clinic is a follow-up option for patients recently discharged from Sentara hospitals and emergency facilities. The Ambulatory Care Clinic provides various services including lab services, X-rays, EKGs, specialty clinics and medication assistance programs, which are available to help patients get prescription medications free or at a reduced cost. Our residents perform free examinations during the clinic's annual Head and Neck Cancer screening event.
